It was about to come after the City of Los Angeles ban on concerts and sports events through 2021 that doesn't mean Podium Girl of the Year at the Los Angeles Olympic Stadium, but we shouldn't get stuck and keep going! The certainty is that the PGOTY will not take place in California but in another state in the US, a few states have reopened since yesterday and we plan to focus perhaps one of those states on the best possible way to organise. Florida is already organizing a mega event this year, the largest sports event in America: the Super Bowl! Texas is also an option for its rich history and best known for the Wild West. The former 2016 presidential candidate for the Republicans, Ted Cruz is for the State of Texas in the US Senate. As you can see there are still plenty of options for which state or city to host the PGOTY this year, we also plan to have the ceremonies behind closed doors, only the journalists and high guests (Presidents, PM, ...) will enter the stadium...

In sommige staten in de VS hebben ze geprotesteerd tegen de lockdown met steun van de president. Jammer dat dit niet gebeurt in België, want hier zijn virologen baas in de plaats van het volk! De VS hebben ze terecht genoeg van de lockdown, ze willen terug aan de slag en hen vrijheid terug! Amerika is het land van de vrijheid en dat is altijd zo geweest maar door deze lockdown is die vrijheid er op de proef gesteld. De president wilde het land zo snel mogelijk weer open en dat is een beetje gebeurt bij bepaalde staten zoals Texas en Florida bevoordeeld. Hier zie je een kaart van de VS op Fox News, waar welke staat ze in fase 1 van heropening van Amerika. Zoals de verwachten was zijn niet de zwaarste getroffen staten zoals New York, Californië en Washington die niet heropent worden voorlooping!
